During our recent family vacation at La Darsena, we found it to be a comfortable base for exploring the local area. The hotel's private parking was advantageous, allowing us to enjoy our outings without the usual parking hassles. The proximity to the beautiful Cala Violina beach made for delightful afternoon strolls along the nature path, which is perfect for adventurous families like ours who appreciate outdoor activities such as mountain biking and horseback riding. Our room was akin to a small apartment, complete with a balcony, which provided a lovely spot to unwind after our explorations. The swimming pool was a highlight, well-maintained and spacious, offering a refreshing retreat for our kids. While the breakfast was satisfactory, it would have benefitted from a greater selection-fresh fruits, for example-but it was evident that management is receptive to feedback. Despite a less than pleasant encounter with one staff member, the overall friendly atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. La Darsena strikes a balance between convenience and family-friendly amenities, making it a solid choice for future vacations.
